Reclaim the Night Pre-March Event …

Join us for a powerful and creative prelude to the Reclaim the Night march 💜✨ 

A significant event aimed at standing against gender-based violence and celebrating the collective power of students and staff coming together to reclaim public spaces after dark. Before we take to the streets, we invite all students and staff to come together, make your voices heard, and prepare for the march in a supportive and vibrant atmosphere. This pre-march event will provide a chance to connect, get creative, and gather all the essentials you'll need for a night of solidarity.

Banner Making Station

Whether you're expressing your personal story, advocating for change, or simply showing your support, we’ll have all the materials you need to create your own unique banner for the march. Bring your energy, your messages, and your creativity. This is your chance to make a bold statement!

Spare Banners Available

If you're not feeling artsy or you don’t have time to make your own, don’t worry! We’ll have a collection of pre-made banners that you can pick up and take with you for the march. These banners, made by fellow students and staff, carry powerful messages and will add to the collective impact of the night.

Pre-March Food & Drinks

Fuel up before the march with free, light snacks and warm drinks. We’ll have a selection of food to keep you energized, including hot drinks to keep you warm and tasty treats to enjoy as you prepare for the march.

March Pack Pickup

We will be giving out a limited amount of March Packs to help light the way and show solidarity during the march. Inside, you'll find

• A torch to light up the night and symbolize our collective strength.
• A custom enamel badge as a reminder of your involvement and support for the cause.
• Hand warmers to keep you comfortable during the march.
• An information card with details about the event, support services, the campaign, and how you can stay involved beyond the march.
