Our favourite and biggest social night of the year the Law Ball, is going to be held at the iconic Titanic Hotels Rum Warehouse on Sunday 11th May 2025. It is a great opportunity to celebrate the year as all assessments have come to an end.
Doors will be opening at 18:30 with a welcome drink on arrival, followed by a three course meal, finishing the evening with a DJ and entertainment until 01:00am
Tickets are available for £62.50 per person including booking fee for members (to purchase this you will be required to buy a membership before purchasing a ticket) (one additional ticket will need to be purchased for your plus one to attend, this can be done in the same transaction).
The ticket includes

Event policies
Tickets are non-refundable. As the Liverpool John Moores Law Society is student-led, an event this large cannot be sustained without ticket sales. We hope you can understand that this policy is for the integrity of the Law Ball.
If you can no longer attend the ball, the society are unable to accommodate refunds or transfers.
However, you can sell your ticket to another student personally. You will need to make us aware of this by 23rd April 2025 at 17:00 in order for us to tell the venue, after this transfers cannot be accommodated.
The Member Ticket requires the following
- You need to have purchased a membership for the Law Society this academic year.
- This can be done before purchasing the ticket via the JMSU Website.
- This will need to be done in a seperate transaction and before purchasing a law ball ticket.
Everyone is welcome to bring a plus one - however they will require a ticket.
Anyone who does not purchase a ticket for their plus one at the time of purchasing their own ticket cannot guarantee there will be further tickets available for their plus one.
1 ticket admits 1 person and costs £62.50 including booking fee
2 tickets admit 2 people and costs £125.00 including booking fee
Your plus one does not have to be an LJMU student.
The tickets will go off sale Thursday 10th April 2025 at 12:00.
However, this is an event that is expected to sell out before then, so please buy your tickets now to avoid disappointment.
The dress code is Black tie, we have made the decision to not to have a theme for the 2025 Law Ball.

Please make sure this is done by Wednesday 23rd April 2025 at 17:00, as following this all dietaries will be sent to the venue and will not be able to be changed.
The venue is accessible for all those with disabilities or accessibility needs and is on one level.
Each ticket admits one person.

If you want to sit with friends, this requires you to fill in the question when purchasing your ticket, tables are likely to be made up of 8 to 10 people.
Plus ones will always be sat with the main purchaser
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you will be sat with everyone on your list, we will do our best to accommodate everyone’s preferences.
Any further information about the ball will be communicated to ticket holders via email, including confirmation on allergies etc.
