Are you passionate about Sustainability and ready take part in the biggest recylcing project in the City!
What is Leave Liverpool Tidy?
Essentially the aim is to divert any furniture and household items to the British Heart Foundation and other local charity partners, rather than being sent to waste / left in Liverpool neighbourhoods and creating litter in the community.
Now in its 12th year, we want to continue to build on all of the incredible donations and reduce waste in the city even further. Here’s what LLT achieved last year (23-24):
- 3370 bags of donations
- £47,000 worth of items donated
- 27 tonnes of items diverted away from landfill!
You can be part of it!
We need to recruit a team of volunteers to help join the team made up of City Council, local community partners and university communities across LJMU and Uni of Liverpool. Apply to the position now and we will be in touch to arrange a team briefing session soon!
There will be a variety of roles available on the day:
And many more!
Thank you for choosing to join the team and representing the JMSU Community!
Lunch, refreshments and goodies will be available throughout the day!
