Stop by to check out an eye-opening exhibition, pick up free resources from the official non-profit organisation Islamphobia Awareness Month and learn how we can come together to combat Islamophobia.
What to expect:
• Free resources and materials i.e. badges, pens. IAM guides and leaflets.
• Make a pledge tree. Giving students and staff the opportunity to put pledges on a tree in our JMSU spaces on how they will support their muslim peers and combat islamophobia in exchange for a packet of seeds tying into theme ‘Seeds of Change’.
• Free arts and crafts table. free plant pot painting etc.
• External organisations. Anthony Walker Foundation will be attending to provide information about their services and support.
• Free food for LJMU students attending the pop-up.
