This event will include a presentation, a tour of the HART base, vehicle tour, kit demonstration and clinical skills stations.
Event policies
Cancellation Policy
We understand things happen and not always according to plan. If your plans do change and you are unable to make it, please let Charlotte (pahcoliv@ljmu.ac.uk) know. With as much notice as possible. This is a very popular event and we have had to limit numbers; therefore, we would hate for anyone to miss out.
Uniform policy
Please wear full student paramedic uniform with steel cap boots and ensure you bring your helmet and hi-vis. This is a safety precaution, failure to do this will exclude you from skills stations.
If tickets sell out
If you would like to attend the event, but there are no tickets available. Please contact Charlotte (pahcoliv@ljmu.ac.uk) to register your interest.
Parking
Parking is first come first serve. There is a public car park nearby for overflow. Please car-share where possible, do not block entrances or exits.
The day of
Please keep in mind that the HART team have been very generous running this skills day and did not have to do this for us.
The team will run through safety procedures, failure to adhere to these throughout the day will mean you are asked to leave.
In the event of a major incident being declared, the event will stop in order for the HART team to respond.
