Get Growing Event
Come and get those fingers green!
Event details:
We currently have several beds in the Tithebarn garden where fruit, veg and herbs can be grown. Produce which is grown here is free to take and last summer we had lots of spinach, chard, garlic, strawberries, artichoke, mint and tomatoes. We also have some raised flower beds in the garden outside the café where we have native plants and flowers. These beds need to be maintained and we need some help to get growing!
Meet at the front of the building next to the helpdesk in the cumfy seating area (confirmation will be sent ot you by email). Then we will head out to the garden, outside the café at the back of the Tithebarn Building for 1pm to be briefed by the LJMU Sustainability Team and then you will head over to the Tithebarn Allotment to get those fingers green.
