A Taste from Home: St Patricks Week Pop up …

In collaboration with LJMU join us for a taste from home: st patrick week pop ups. 100 Taste from home packs to be given away aswell as a mini exhibition celebrating the rich history and ongoing presence of the Irish community in Liverpool. The exhibition explores key moments and cultural touchpoints, from the arrival of the Famine Irish and the waves of migration that followed, to the social and community hubs, GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) and the music, dance, and language that continue to shape Irish identity in the city today.

You’ll also find information about local organisations that support and celebrate Irish life in Liverpool, including the Liverpool Irish Centre, Irish Community Care, Liverpool Irish Festival, and GAA groups such as Liverpool Wolfe Tones and Liverpool John Mitchel’s.

This pop‑up aims to create a sense of belonging and connection for Irish students at LJMU, offering a space to explore shared heritage, celebrate community, and feel at home in Liverpool’s long‑standing Irish story.
